The Wind Farm Site is located about 12 km east of Duyen Hai Town, in Truong Long Hoa communes (Duyen Hai District) in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. Ba Dong Beach is located approximately 1.75km from the Project site at its nearest point.
Tra Vinh 1 Wind Farm consists of 12 Vestas Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) type V150. Each WTG has a tower height of 105m and rotor diameter if 150m. Each one installed on a specifically constructed nearshore foundation which can be accessed directly from an internal link bridge system. The Wind Farm consists of the WTGs, the associated foundations and civil works and electrical system, Substation, Transmission Line, SCADA, lines, cabling, buildings, link bridge and all other fixed plant, machinery and equipment at the Site.
