The Wind Farm Site is located about 5 km south of Vinh Chau town, in Vinh Phuoc communes, Vinh Chau town in Soc Trang province, Vietnam.
Soc Trang 3 Wind Farm consists of 7 Gamesa Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) type G145. Each WTG has a tower height of 105m and rotor diameter if 145m. Each one installed on a specifically constructed hardstand platform (area approximately 1,500m2) which can be accessed directly from an internal road system. The Wind Farm consists of the WTGs, the associated foundations and civil works and electrical system, Substation, Transmission Line, SCADA, lines, cabling, buildings, roads and all other fixed plant, machinery and equipment at the Site.
